I'm essentially an oil painter; I started out painting with oils, and will always go back to them. But recently I've found a new freedom in painting with acrylics. It's a completely different process, and subsequently my acrylic paintings are very different than my oil paintings.
I started this series as an affordable alternative to oil paintings, and I'm really having a good time with them!
